Boothbay Explorer Sailboat For Sale for a short term. The Boothbay Explorer for sale is a 58-foot, seven-foot monohull sailboat. Built by Hodgdon Bros. from 1971 to 1974, it features an open cockpit, comfortable accommodations, and desirable electronics. Its original owner purchased the boat in Maine and has maintained it well for its entire life. She is well equipped for cruising and has been recently repowered with a John Deere diesel engine.
Boothbay Explorer boat is a great value, and you can sail it for as little as $300 a day. She can accommodate two people or four and is in excellent condition. The owner is a third-generation sailboat enthusiast who has owned and operated a boat for ten years. The Alden Appledore shell is a rare design by Ocean Cat. It has a classic look and was previously used four times.

The interior has a spacious main salon and aft cabin with bureaus and hanging lockers. The cabins are separated by a stern companionway and are easily accessible from the salon and the cockpit. The head is located at the forward end of the forward companionway and can be accessed from either side. A spacious enclosed head and shower are located amidships. The galley is located outboard of the forward companionway.
